Last weekend was Sakura Matsuri at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Spent the day with Liz, Eric, Ginny and Monty mainly hanging because of a few somewhat unfortunate circumstances. The trees were stripped of Cherry blossoms a few weeks before, there were a massive amount of people and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Aside from the people it did make for a great day to walk around a park but made taking photos of things larger than the munny I brought with me a challenge.
So although I posted a cellphone shot of the finished Ash Munny I never actually posted decent pictures. Something I am going to correct immediately.
The shots were all taken around our front and back yards the day before the gallery showing. They were mainly because I realized just how small a piece I was submitting which also wasn’t for sale and wanted to have more to offer that I could/wanted to sell. Considering it was like 7am and I have a habit of wearing pajamas pants the majority of the time I’m at home I do sometimes have the morbid curiosity of what the neighbors are probably saying.
You may reckognize these two as Novice Herp and Novice Derp from the gif I posted a couple weeks ago.
Finally done with the rest of the shots taken at Magfest in 2 shoots. Its the first shoot I’ve edited in aperture and also did some playing around. Still trying to decide if it was a smart choice. In other words critique is welcome.
